Braving a snowstorm ans slaloming between crashed cars, I finally arrive to Copenhagen to take my first plane leading to Paris. Or, almost!
Proud to have made it easily, I arrive at the counter one hour in advance for check-in . There, the stewardess informed us that the flight was cancelled due to heavy snow in Paris. Heavy snow? Could that be worse than in Sturup where we couldn't see further than 10 meters? Which kind of snow fall would prevent planes from taking off (whereas no problem was reported in Malmö)? Whatever! I am now stuck at Kastrup (the Copenhagen airport) with nothing else to do that eating a korv, opportunately renamed hot dog for international customers, paid by the compensation handled by Air France for the change of flight. Paid by a French company to eat a hot dog in Denmark seems to me a it weird. But do I have any other choice? Just let's hope thet the already displayed 40 minutes of delay won't turn into more or, even worse, a cancellation...
I can't afford losing a day in Copenhagen because tomorrow, I have some gifts and a JR Railpass to buy (some bills will be sacrified, it seems...)
