• First match at Copenhagen

Only a week after coming back to training with Clement (despite the fresh Swedish spring's evenings), we have to play our first match. Fortunately, a friendly one. Strangely, it was abroad. However, do not misunderstand, Malmö, and Copenhagen are only a few kilometers away of each others. So, with our two trainings done, we set the rendez-vous at 11am in at central station where the rest of the team should have found us. Should only because nobody was able to find us in such a not-so-big station... Whatever, we finally reached Pierre at the Copenhagen station before taking the bus to the Christiana Rugby Klubb.
The match was a kind of disaster. What else to say about a match between a trained team with some good elements (Copenhagen) against a team mostly made with new players who made their first match (Lugi)? So, Copenhagen made us suffer 20 minutes..... 4 times! As a result, no try for Lugi whereas Copenhagen scored maybe 7 (beyond a certain amount, we just gave up counting)... Fortunately, this match made us realise what kind of phase we should improve (defence!!) and what to do seriously during the next training (physical condition!!)... Let's hope the coming games (still friendly) will bring a lot of improvements and make us ready for the series!
Happily, despite this, well, hammering, the rest of the day was nice with a small dinner at my place and an excellent The Gabb at Panora where we met almost everybody and enjoyed for some hours... Ahh, Sunday will be quiet, for sure (even if some tvätten -laundry- is awaiting me)...
