If we start seeing this in the newspapers, then, these guys must really get louder because this feeling against Chinese, Koreans or Americans are anyway underlying in the society, here, and therefore these guys tolerated. I could do pages about racism how the average Japanese can not consider a foreigner as a 'normal' person but let's stick to these articles...
I used to see them every day at V‹´‰w or the West Exit of Vh‰w but never expected them to do anything else than be poor speakers on top of their black van... I guess the financial crisis passed by.

Now, about Ozawa... Well, he is smart and political enough not to make that kind of mistake. Could it be some kind of translation shortcut? Not sure, as everybody is tempted by populism, but I don't think he wants to take that risk while trying to reach the top of his party...
