During the first months of the contract, part of the integration team for the new air traffic control system (operational since March 2005) on UNIX Tru64 environment. The main task was to fix bugs observed by air controllers or C++/ADA developers (internal) and be in first row of the customer service. Meanwhile, we delivered patches or releases to the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration (Luftfartsverket), to fix those problems and provide support to our developers as well.
Then, gradually taking in charge the hardware maintenance problems for both sites (Malm� and Stockholm) as an operational interface between HQ in France, the customer in Sweden, companies in charge of hardware reparation (in Sweden or France) or suppliers (HP-Compaq, Blackbox, fiber components...). It implied creating new tools (k-shell, perl, PHP, MS Office VBA), writing official documentation and purchasing equipments for changes/updates, define processes with all the involved persons and managing them (training on new upgrades, tools).
